“RAI Senior Kelvin Double Bridge” Model 55X-SK is an ideal kelvin double bridge instrument for precision low-resistance measurement. It is designed for applications in cable, transformer, and wire manufacturing industries. This double bridge is also suitable for quality control and maintenance of transformers in heavy electrical engineering and power transmission projects.
The instrument provides a versatile measurement range of 0.02 micro-ohms to 1.1 ohm and is designed for high-precision measurement of extremely low resistance values. Ten standard resistors drawn from manganin sheet, each having a value of 0.001 ohm, are provided in the bridge.
The slide wire is divided into 500 divisions to provide a resolution of 0.02 micro-ohms. This slide wire is totally immersed in oil to ensure excellent stability of resistance in the bridge. The four-terminal arrangement helps provide accurate low-resistance measurement while minimizing the effects of lead and contact resistance.
The Senior Kelvin Double Bridge is suitable for laboratories, manufacturing industries, calibration applications, transformer testing, cable testing, and other applications requiring a reliable kelvin double bridge instrument for extremely low resistance measurement.

A kelvin double bridge instrument is a precision electrical measuring instrument used for accurate measurement of very low resistance values. The 55X-SK uses a four-terminal arrangement to minimize errors caused by lead and contact resistance.
The 55X-SK has a measurement range from 0.02 micro-ohm to 1.1 ohm, making it suitable for high-precision measurement of extremely low resistance values.
The Senior Kelvin Double Bridge provides ±0.2% ±1 slide wire division below 0.0001 ohm, ±0.1% from 0.0001 ohm to 0.01 ohm, and ±0.05% above 0.01 ohm.
The 55X-SK provides a resolution as low as 0.02 micro-ohm. Its slide wire is divided into 500 divisions and immersed in oil to improve resistance stability during measurement.
The double bridge is suitable for cable, transformer, and wire manufacturing industries, as well as laboratories, calibration applications, quality control, transformer testing, and maintenance of electrical equipment.
